FCC allocates un-serviced land

"When we were relocating squatters from Somerset to Gerald Estate some years ago, they were allocated plots without services with the exception of water. "The ministry will, however, have to look at the viability of a proposal by the municipality before acceding to their request," he said. He stated that the Ministry of Lands has allocated un-serviced plots in rural areas. He said services would be provided when the government has secured enough funds for the purpose. The arrangement, he said, has worked well."
